Keep Your Account Info Current
We send important stuff to your contact details - invoices, support replies, service notices. If your name, email, phone number, or address changes, here's how to update it.
Step-by-Step
- Log into the client area at billing.yourcheaphost.com
- Hover over your name or the profile icon in the top-right corner
- Click My Details (or Account Details depending on the theme)
- You'll see your Personal Information tab - here you can edit:
- First & Last Name
- Email Address - this is where we send invoices and support replies
- Phone Number - include your country code (e.g., +60 for Malaysia)
- Company Name (if applicable)
- Address, City, State, Postcode
- Country
- Make your changes and click Save Changes
Changing Your Email Address
If you update your email, we'll send a confirmation to the new address. Click the link in that email to verify it. Until you do, we'll still use your old email for important notifications.
Changing Your Password
Same page - look for the Security (or Change Password) tab. You'll need your current password to set a new one. Pick something strong and different from your cPanel or email passwords.
Why This Matters
Outdated contact info means:
- You might miss overdue invoice notices (and get suspended unexpectedly)
- Support replies go to the wrong inbox
- We can't call if there's an urgent server issue affecting your account
Take 2 minutes to check your details every few months - that's all it takes.
